This association<\/a> can be seen as the nucleus of a network of all the \u201cFriends of Saarbr\u00fccken Computer Science\u201d (FDSI). It is the alumni association of Saarbr\u00fccken computer scientists and the contact point for everyone who wishes to support Saarbr\u00fccken computer science, whether materially or otherwise. The association complements the work of the Competence Center Computer Science Saarland<\/a> with the capabilities of an association organized under private law.<\/p>\n Each year, the association awards the G\u00fcnter Hotz Medal<\/a> to the best graduates of Saarbr\u00fccken Computer Science. For this reason, it is best if participants do not limit themselves to a \u201cminimal entry\u201d with only their name and time present at the university, but also provide further information.
