Brief overview of the research field<\/h2>\n

The goal of this very practical and young discipline is to revolutionize the input and output of PCs and thus the ways users and computers communicate. Can a musical instrument replace the keyboard? Can you scroll a screen using your eyes? And how can you create flexible, custom displays yourself? These and similar questions are tackled in our own workshop with state-of-the-art hardware.<\/p>\n

Along with a new professorship in the Department of Computer Science, researchers at the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence<\/a> and the Max Planck Institute for Informatics<\/a> are actively involved in advancements in this field.<\/p>\n
