Am 3. Oktober sind vier Sch\u00fclerlabore der Universit\u00e4t des Saarlandes wieder mit von der Partie beim T\u00fcren-auf-Tag der \u201eSendung mit der Maus\u201c. Von 10 bis 14 Uhr k\u00f6nnen Kinder von acht bis zw\u00f6lf Jahren Spannendes aus der Welt der Wissenschaft und Forschung entdecken. Die Anmeldung f\u00fcr die begrenzten Pl\u00e4tze hat begonnen.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201eWertvolle Sch\u00e4tze\u201c: Zum diesj\u00e4hrigen Motto des T\u00fcren-auf-Tages haben sich die Sch\u00fclerlabore der F\u00e4cher Materialwissenschaft, Chemie, Informatik und Systems Engineering einiges einfallen lassen: Das Angebot reicht von M\u00fcnzen vergolden \u00fcber Edelsteine untersuchen bis hin zum Herstellen selbst entworfener M\u00fcnzen mit dem 3D-Drucker. Weil nat\u00fcrliche Ressourcen besonders kostbar sind und sogar Abfall ein wertvoller Schatz sein kann, geht es auch um Recycling und Upcycling: Die Kinder k\u00f6nnen aus Zellstoff Papier sch\u00f6pfen und aus alten T-Shirts neue Einkaufstaschen knoten.
\nAu\u00dferdem gibt es Antworten auf die Frage, woraus ein Handy besteht \u2013 und was sich davon recyceln l\u00e4sst. Kinder ab zehn Jahren k\u00f6nnen einen L\u00f6tkurs belegen (ab zehn Jahren mit Begleitung, ab zw\u00f6lf Jahren auch allein). Anhand von Modellen werden die Sensoren, die in einem Handy versteckt sind, erkl\u00e4rt.<\/p>\n

Die Organisation des T\u00fcren-auf-Tages an der Universit\u00e4t hat die Materialforscherin und Professorin f\u00fcr Polymerwerkstoffe Karen Lienkamp<\/a><\/strong> \u00fcbernommen.<\/p>\n
