St\u00e4dte enthalten enorme Mengen an wertvollen Materialien, die in bestehenden Geb\u00e4uden verbaut sind und bei Sanierungen oder R\u00fcckbauten h\u00e4ufig ungenutzt verloren gehen. Genau hier setzt Urban Mining an: Es betrachtet Geb\u00e4ude als Materiallager und zielt darauf ab, vorhandene Baustoffe und Bauteile systematisch zu erfassen und wiederzuverwenden, statt sie zu entsorgen. Urban Mining spielt somit eine entscheidende Rolle f\u00fcr die klimaneutrale Transformation der Bauwirtschaft. Das Forschungsprojekt MIRAKEL (Mixed-Reality- und vertrauensw\u00fcrdiges KI-basiertes Assistenzsystem zur Einsch\u00e4tzung von Werten anthropogener Lager und Kosten von Erschlie\u00dfungsprozessen in der Kreislaufwirtschaft) liefert dabei die Grundlage, um R\u00fcckbau und Wiederverwendung systematisch zu planen und umzusetzen.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Experten bewerten Geb\u00e4udebest\u00e4nde mit KI und Mixed Reality<\/h3>\n

Eine gro\u00dfe Herausforderung beim Urban Mining in Immobilien ist das fehlende Wissen \u00fcber Art, Menge und Qualit\u00e4t der zu bergenden Bauprodukte. Hier setzt das Forschungsprojekt MIRAKEL an. In dem Verbundprojekt aus Industrie und Forschung entwickeln die Projektpartner ein innovatives System, das es Experten mithilfe von k\u00fcnstlicher Intelligenz und Mixed Reality erm\u00f6glicht, anthropogene Lager in Immobilien pr\u00e4zise und umfassend zu bewerten. Durch die gesteigerte Transparenz \u00fcber die vorhandenen Best\u00e4nde und die n\u00f6tigen R\u00fcckbauschritte soll sich Urban Mining zuk\u00fcnftig von der reinen Bergung von Rohstoffen l\u00f6sen. Das Ziel besteht darin, auch Bauteile, Bauelemente und Komponenten gezielt zur\u00fcckzugewinnen, um eine m\u00f6glichst hochwertige Anschlussnutzung der Bauprodukte zu erreichen und Urban Mining zu einem zentralen Baustein einer ressourceneffizienten, klimaneutralen Bauwirtschaft zu machen.<\/p>\n

\u201eMit MIRAKEL machen wir den Wert der verborgenen Rohstoffe in Geb\u00e4uden sichtbar und wirtschaftlich nutzbar\u201c, hei\u00dft es aus dem Projektteam. \u201eSo wird R\u00fcckbau vom Kostenfaktor zur Ressourcenquelle f\u00fcr die Bauwirtschaft von morgen.\u201c<\/p>\n

Sieben Partner entwickeln Prototyp f\u00fcr die Praxis<\/h3>\n

Das Projekt wird im Rahmen der F\u00f6rderung \u201eRessourceneffiziente Kreislaufwirtschaft – Urban Mining: Erschlie\u00dfung anthropogener Lager als Rohstoffquelle\u201c durch das Bundesministerium f\u00fcr Forschung, Technologie und Raumfahrt (BMFTR) gef\u00f6rdert. W\u00e4hrend der 30-monatigen Projektlaufzeit arbeiten die sieben Projektpartner Concular GmbH, Wilhelm Knepper GmbH & Co. KG, ryze technologies GmbH, Berliner Immobilienmanagement GmbH, SRH University, Deutsches Forschungszentrum f\u00fcr K\u00fcnstliche Intelligenz GmbH (DFKI) und CIRCULAR STRUCTURAL DESIGN an einem ersten Prototyp des Assistenzsystems, der in ausgew\u00e4hlten Immobilien praktisch erprobt und wissenschaftlich evaluiert wird.
