Global market leader goes for CISPA

The California-based Symantec Corporation settles in Saarland and establishes a research lab in Saarbrücken. This was announced last evening by the CISPA – Helmholtz Center via press release. The industrial location is the result of the talks led by Professor Michael Backes, the founding director of the CISPA Helmholtz Center. CISPA is thus keeping its first promise of being the engine for structural change in the Saarland. Symantec is the world’s leading cybersecurity company, with one of the world’s most comprehensive networks for detecting cybercrime and protecting customers from a new generation of attacks. Symantec was founded in April 1982. Its more than 19,000 employees work in 50 countries.
