Information on Minors
Minor in Informatics (bachelor’s degree program)
- For the minor, 18 points are required, of which at least 9 must be graded
- Lectures, exercises, seminars, or practica of a study program can be counted towards the requirement
Selection of other minor subjects
- In principle, it is possible to select the majority of UdS’ courses of study as a minor subject (for example Japanology, rather than a combination of Japanese language courses)
- Common minor subjects include mathematics, business administration, systems engineering, computational linguistics, physics or general psychology
- For these more frequently chosen courses of study, there are guidelines for which courses can or cannot be included in the minor program (with the respective contact person):
