Further Information

The Tandem project at Saarland University aims to further develop research results of Saarland computer science and the Max Planck Institutes which are of interest for commercial or industrial use, through an incubation process in which either investors buy or license the products, or new companies are founded in the Saarland. Parallel activities in the project include national and international public relations, measures to promote technology transfer in general and concepts for the recruitment of junior researchers in the field of computer science. The Tandem project contributes to strengthening Saarland computer science and Saarland as a business location.
