Pellegrino and Joux to become Faculty at CISPA Helmholtz Center for Information Security
Giancarlo Pellegrino and Antoine Joux have accepted a Faculty position at CISPA.
Giancarlo is starting his new position at CISPA on October 1, 2019. After a few years as a postdoctoral researcher in Christian Rossow’s group, he was selected as the first member of the CISPA-Stanford Center for Cybersecurity joining Stanford University as a visiting assistant professor. His area of expertise is application security, and he is particularly interested in automated techniques to detect and analyze vulnerabilities.
Antoine Joux was born in 1967. He received his doctorate from the École polytechnique in 1986. He was a Professor at the Université de Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines and is currently Chair of Cryptology at the Université Pierre et Marie Curie in Paris (Sorbonne). In 2013, Antoine was awarded the prestigious Gödel Prize for his publication ‚A one round protocol for tripartite Diffie-Hellman“. He is taking up his position at CISPA in Saarbruecken on January 1, 2020.
