Your studies in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence
In the new study program, you learn how problems can be analyzed in such a way that methods from artificial intelligence, data science, big data, and machine learning can be used to solve them automatically. The study program is both research- and application-oriented: Our students work on concrete questions and problems of application subjects such as computer linguistics, physics, materials science, chemistry, psychology and biology. Because use of sensitive data is involved, aspects of IT security, law, data protection, philosophy and ethics are also important considerations.
_ Software Development
_ Computer Security
_ Database Systems
Admission to the bachelor’s program is normally possible in the winter and summer semesters.
The bachelor’s study program has no enrollment restrictions; that means that the request to enroll (registration) can be done online without a prior application:
• for a winter semester, from the beginning of August to the end of September
• for a summer semester, from the beginning to the end of March.
The required documents can be submitted by uploading them at the URL listed on the registration form. All the information about registration can be found in the corresponding instructions.
Please note: If you wish to change your study subject when registering for a later term of a study program, a placement decision from the examination board must also be submitted.
