Am Donnerstag ist das CISPA Helmholtz-Zentrum in Saarbrücken offiziell eröffnet worden. Aus ihm soll in weiteren Schritten das neue „Helmholtz-Zentrum für Informationssicherheit CISPA“ im Saarbrücker Stadtwald entstehen. Nach Abschluss dieses Prozesses wird es das 19. Zentrum der Helmholtz-Gemeinschaft Deutscher Forschungszentren sein und das erste mit dem Schwerpunkt IT-Sicherheit.
